We measure our carbon footprint to better understand and reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
During the reporting year, 97% of the electricity used across our hotels came from certified renewable energy sources. This enabled us to reduce emissions associated with electricity consumption by 63% compared with a scenario based on the national electricity grid mix, confirming the positive impact of our transition to renewable energy.
We continuously monitor our greenhouse gas emissions to inform future decisions and support our ongoing decarbonisation journey.
